Measuring 150cm x 100cm, this rubber safety mat offers a cost-effective way of creating safety surfacing in your 'home playground'.  The mat actually complies with 'Parks and Playgrounds' safety standards for equipment with certain critical fall heights.  In the domestic setting, it can be laid over a lawn, allowing your grass to grow up through it, and you can simply mow as usual without causing damage to the mat.

When the play area in question requires several mats, they can be simply and effectively joined together using cable ties (provided), and fixed to the ground around the edge of the combination using stakes (provided).

This mat is not a requirement for play equipment in a domestic setting, but may provide peace of mind if the children playing are very young, or the ground is particularly hard.  Please note that the mat is not what could be described as a 'soft cushioning surface' - it is relatively firm but provides sufficient impact absorption to lessen a fall or tumble whilst also being extremely hard wearing.
